Uniform Expenses

All students need a black PCHS band t-shirt throughout the school year to wear as an informal uniform. Some sophomore, junior, and seniors students may already own this item and will not need to purchase this. All new students need to purchase this item.

This shirt size information will also be used to order marching band show shirts for students and throughout the year when we need to purchase shirts.
Woodwind and Brass players wear black gloves during performances. Due to wear and tear (and loss), we recommend purchasing 2-3 pair of gloves to last the season. We will give students their full order all at once. NOT FOR PERCUSSION OR GUARD!

This shoes are required for all woodwind, brass, and percussion students (guard students have different shoes in a section below). If a student already has shoes that fit and look nice, they can continue to use them and do not need to purchase new ones.

These gloves are required ONLY for color guard members. This year, we will be wearing BLACK guard gloves, so everyone will need a new pair. One pair should get the job done for the season. We will measure students for sizing during rehearsals.

Marching Band Uniform Responsibility*
Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion students in the PCHS Wildcat Marching Band are assigned a jacket, bibs, and gauntlets that have uniquely identifiable numbers sewn into them. Students are responsible for these items as assigned by parent volunteers during uniform fittings. Any lost uniform items will be reported to the PCHS Bookkeeper and charged to the student's school account for replacement. Please check the box below indicating that you understand this responsibility.

Field Trip Permission/Information

I hereby give permission for the student named above to participate in all marching band competitions to be transported by school bus.
Emergency Medical Aid*
In the event of a medical emergency, I give permission for District 202 personnel to secure emergency medical services if needed.
Please list any medical conditions, allergies, or other important information.

Band Booster Membership

Membership in the PCHS Band Boosters grants each family one vote in any matters brought up for a vote in the general membership, including the election of the booster board. It also grants the right to hold a position on the booster board and contributes to the annual PCHS Band Booster Budget. Please see the various membership levels to the right to see other benefits of membership.

  • $15 // Basic Membership - Voting rights on issues brought to the general membership, enables you to run for a booster board position, includes a PCHS Wildcat Band Magnet!
  • $50-$99 // Bronze Membership - All items included in Basic Membership as well as a marching band show shirt.
  • $100-199 // Silver Membership - All items included in Basic and Bronze Membership PLUS a second show shirt.
  • $200-499 // Gold Membership - All items included in all other memberships PLUS a PCHS Band Hoodie of your choice.
  • $500+ // Platinum Membership - All items included in other memberships PLUS an additional two coupons good for any band spirit wear of your choice!
If you are registering a second student, please select "Not Joining" from the list and we will use the selection from your first student as your booster membership.
If you are registering a second student and already joined, please put a 0 in the box below. If you are not joining, please put 0 in the box below.
We list the names of our booster members in each concert program. Please let us know how you would like us to list you or your family.
If your booster membership rewards you with marching band show shirts, please list the size(s) of shirts you need here. If your booster membership also rewards you with other spirit wear, please just come to the booster spirit wear shop at any home game and tell them you're here to pick up your booster member reward! These shirts are in addition to the one we are ordering for your student.

Volunteer for the Band!

As mentioned at Marching Band Preview Night, it requires over 4,000 volunteer hours to run our band program! Please tell us when you can help us, put it on your calendar, and we'll reach out to you as we get closer to the event!

Reduce Your Fees!

For a fee reduction of $50, you can choose to chair a band booster committee. These opportunities are first-come, first-served. You will be responsible for working with the band directors, coordinating volunteers, and working with

Participation fees are $150 in addition to the $100 registration fee. While they are not required to be paid at this time, you are welcome do so if you would like, just enter any dollar amount up to $150 and it will be added to your total!

I don’t know if the drummer is in high school, but the band sounded fantastic. A great turn out for the spaghetti dinner and Jazz Band concert!! Thanks parents for all your help and support.
