The term “Concert Band” refers to bands of a specific group of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments that sit while playing. Plainfield Central has three concert bands of different levels of difficulty. Their names are Concert Band (confusing, we know…), Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble, with Wind Ensemble playing the most difficult music. Each of the 3 bands perform what they have been working on in class at concerts throughout the school year.
